Mornin', Beau! The pictures are fine, they show all that is really needed to be seen. I'm on a quest - to collect natural stones - and I don't even know why they caught my eye, I usually make my own costume jewelry, or buy from other artisans and of course I do have a few lovely pieces of the precious stones purchased (of course...lol) from jewelry stores. But for some reason I've now become attracted to the polished beauties of nature! Do you tumble, polish, etc. your stones? That's the new direction I'm going in. Working on getting the equipment I need to do so. To make this stone so lovely requires tools that I've not had the need to purchase for the types of costume jewelry I create. I'm looking forward to giving it a shot! I love learning new things and branching out in new directions to create something beautiful, or in this case, enhance natural materials to make them smooth, shiny and ready to be made into a pendant, bracelet and even earrings. It's one of my hobbies and if we didn't love our hobbies, well, we wouldn't stick with them! Thanks so much for offering all these simply lovely stones for auction so I could find them - and, of course, win them! That is my intent. LOL God bless & have a wonderful day, ~Poppy~
I have always been interested in stones or shells, since I was little. Last year I decided to change my venture in life to making jewelry also. I set out looking for unusual specimens, until I started looking at the mysteries that the stones have ie. healing powers. I have the wiring tools, wire, etc. for my craft. My wish for the future is to get a "GOOD" rock tumbler so I can "shine them up". Thank you having the same love for stones. I will continue to buy, sell, bid, etc. because I truly love this site and the people I have been in contact with. God bless, Beau
