TalonSoft's West Front, is a turn-based war simulation based on platoon level combat during World War II, 1940-1945.

The forces of Germany and Italy have been designed to accurately reflect their presence in Western Europe and North Africa. Other countries represented in the conflict are France (including the Vichy and Free French), the United States, Great Britain and her Commonwealth nations, Belgium, Holland, Norway, Yugoslavia and Greece.

Each campaign contains a variety of choices such as theatre, time period during WWII and length.

West Front offers multi-player action on several levels. Up to 16 players can participate (eight to a side) via a local area network or on the Internet.

Forty-two types of terrain can be encountered during gameplay that includes over 50 pre-designed scenarios.
Other game features include character promotions, from lieutenant to general, enhanced AI and over 500 equipment and unit types. Unit transportation, reinforcements, and organizational movement all play a part in this war simulation.

Somewhere I might have the manual for this game. If I find it after I send the disc, I will let the winner know and send it, but I can't find it now. However here is a good online site about the game.
