can you melt this in a liquid burner. I have the kind of burner that you put a candle under the holder area

Yes those will work too. I have one of those tea light warmers and I do wax tarts in it. With these since there such a good size tart I'll put it in and let about half melt by then the packet is usually exposed and can be pulled putt easily then I save the unmelted part for a later use.
