Sorry yes I believe my husband said it works on any cannon but he's not sure about using it on a digital I will double check with him tomorrow he's out of town if it's any different I will comment

My husband said he's never tried it on his digital he doesn't he's afraid it might ruin the camera I guess I would say no but it would be up to you
