I bought these from and antique shop in the early 90's and the woman who owned it said that they were from Japan. There is a large one and a small one (I call that one the mini me). The base color is red and there are flowers on the front of each vase. I tried to show pictures of the red part because if you look close there are designs inside it, some kind of leaves and a humming bird (that is just on the big one). The little one has a price sticker on it from the antique store I bought it in. The both have a pedestal to set them on that is black. The small one has a couple of chips I showed in the pictures. I will go on the record as saying that I think these are more vintage than antique. I have looked them up online and that is what I gather from what I have found. I have taken a few pictures with a ruler so that you can see height with and without pedestal as-well-as width. These are in fantastic condition.
