Yes, it is real, no it is no man made.
The real deal. Natural Amethyst. February's birth stone that is cabochon. Huge stone to make jewelry with.

A cabochon is a gemstone which has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted. The resulting form is usually a convex top with a flat bottom.. Hardness is also taken into account as softer gemstones with a hardness lower than 7 on the Mohs hardness scale are easily scratched, mainly by silicon dioxide in dust and grit. This would quickly make translucent gems unattractive—instead they are polished as cabochons, making the scratches less evident.
So that means it is protected against scratches, high polish, gloss and it has a flat back.

i took so many pictures to try and get the luster and color to show and i did pretty good. i dont have great light conditions. this is natural not man made.
i showed the front and the back. great size.
Stock picture are taken under light. Each item is enlarged 3-5 times to display the color and pattern details. Color may vary slightly due to the color calibration of each individual monitor.

i send out twice a week but mostly the next day with tracking. if you think it is damaged you will need to supply pictures before getting a refund and must return the item.
