This is such a pretty ring so bright and sparkly! Started to keep this one for myself...lol. It is Amethyst with cubic zirconia accents and in my opinion just beautiful!!! it is stamped 925 and is a size 9.

Beautiful, could I please ask a question about .925 sterling silver, I had a bad experience with it. It turned down to the brass and I was told it would if you wear it in showers, not keeping it in a plastic bag when not being worn. I even used the magnet to make sure . Is there anything I can put on it.

If it wore down to brass it was 925 silver plated. You can have it replated which is just as expensive as buying another ring. I have gotten some rings. if it is solid sterling a simple cleaning and polishing should take away the brassy look. i have alot of rings that are rhodium plated and when the plating starts to wear away it gets a flaky brass look that is why i keep them in their own bags when not being worn and take them off during showers. thats why for the most part i go for sterling with no protective plating it is worth it to be able to wear it all the time. But the rhodium plating which is what this ring has gives it a much shinier look it is also used alot on white gold. But when it starts to peel away it leaves the ring looking like it has a bad case of psoriasis with all the flaky looking spots...lol

The ring could be sized down although it has a protective Rhodium plating so it will start to flake away in other spots around the are where the ring has been heated and i would recommend having the plating re-coated to prevent that from happening. And an Amethyst has the hardness of a 7 on the Mohs scale which means exposing it to much heat could damage the stone. So if i had it resized i would make sure they were very careful with it. Don't know carat weight but the stone is fair size it isn't small but it is not overly big either.

This ring also sits low on the finger but it does however have accents half way gown on each side of the ring if that is okay and won't bother you then yes it would be a very good ring for the index finger.
