Set of 2 Handmade Tear Bear paper piecings. Made from expensive thick handcrafted 150gsm-165gsm mulberry paper. Their clothes are made from cardstock. Mr. measures approx. 5 inches tall, 4 inches wide. Princess measures approx. 5 1/4 inches tall, 4 inches wide. I used a pattern from Beary Sweet Designs to create this. I also used a pattern from KaDoodle Bug designs to make the bear outfits.

Definition: Tear bears are circles, ovals and similar shapes torn from mulberry paper to give it a fluffy real like look and assembled into the shape of a teddy bear before being glued together.

There are many uses not limited to scrapbooking layouts, cards, framed with a picture, magnets. The possibilities are numerous!
