The auction is for 50+ , (enough to grow a nice patch) of English Lavender Vera , (Lavendula Angustivfolia ), True Lavender,..........Fresh ...NON GMO...Open Pollinated...Heirloom....This is a Beautiful Herb plant that is one of Natures multi taskers from its use in Medicine to the Kitchen.....to Aromatherapy and Bouquet uses......Queen of the scented garden it is Highly valued for its Drying , Cuttings , and Essential Oils Quality. The name Lavender is derived from the Latin word "Lavare" which means "to wash" ....the ancients used lavender to wash in......English Lavender is a Beautiful plant and the most popular Garden lavender in North America and is referred to as True Lavender. .. Along with Herbs like rosemary , sage , and oregano it belongs to the mint family....it is used extensively in Herbalism for its healing properties and lavender oil..an essential oil highly effective with very sweet overtones...also prized in Beauty products for its light floral scent it is used in cosmetics,perfumes,salves,soaps,shampoos and scent sachets....Has many uses including Aromatherapy,insecticides, baking, anxiety, insomnia,bouquets, drying, oils and more. LOL Great gal, we've become friends via the 'phone. So we're talking seeds now and one of us will be going for something you offer. We both love that you offer heirloom seeds.
