Description

The listing, Lot of 5 Different Stamps from Newfoundland - 1930s-1940s has ended.

These stamps were issued when Newfoundland was still a separate colony of Britain and not part of Canada. From the 1930s and 1940s, the stamps feature the current queen as a young Princess Elizabeth, her father (King George VI), cod fishing (a Newfoundland staple) and an island scene. A very nice group of stamps from a political entity that no longer exists.
