Can you resize the ring?

I looked it up, and although a resizing can be done, its very difficult, and it says that if there is a stone in the ring-like this one- re-sizing may crack or break the stone because stainless steel is so strong. It salso expensive to resize a stainless steel ring from what I read. However, if the ring is too large in size, a ring guard can easily be inserted :) Thanks for asking that question! I had never thought about re-sizing a stainless steel piece :)
