The listing, Vintage Early American Pattern Glass Cobalt Blue Mug/Cup has ended.

We are selling this Early American Pattern Glass Cobalt Blue Mug/Cup as a beautiful shelf piece as it has typical roughness around the top rim edge and bubbles and roughness around the mold lines. There are 3 mold lines which we believe means this item is from the late 1800's to early 1900,s. There is also evidence of shelf marks on the bottom. It is still a very nice Cobalt Blue Mug and the shipping is free.

Hello, and thanks for looking and asking a question. Well, I ran my index finger and thumb around the rim edge and did not feel any evidence I would be injured. I also cleaned it and moved it around like I was drinking from it and felt to evidence of danger. It feels less rough on the side using your right hand. It is our understanding that this is somewhat typical of this type early glass production. Of course we would not want to guaranty anything beyond what we indicated.
