White Sage, for incense only, NOT FOR CONSUMPTION! Used for smudging and cleansing the home from negativity.
Fresh, I have to allow it to dry out a bit more before using.

The Sweetgrass burns well, adding a nice scent with the Sage, it was purchased from a fair in ME, where everything had to be organic and handmade.

Can you explain why your white sage is not for consumption? Because I buy white sage at a herb shop for making tea that is very useful as medicine for treating colds and lung infections such as bronchitis and it has been used safely in this manner for thousands of years by native Americans.

I cannot verify if this sage has been organically grown, and I fear if it has pesticides and or grown with anything harmful to consume. Safety first for my Listian friends! I will say that it smells very fresh and I do not feel it has been treated. Thank you for a good question. I hope my answer helps.

I tracked down & spoke to the farm where this sage came from, it has never been treated with chemicals.

This Sweetgrass comes from the Common Ground Fair, which is sponsored by the Maine Organic Farmers Association. I often make wreaths for house warming gifts. It also burns so nicely with the sage.
