FREE: Very Old US 2c Stamp from 1887 with George Washington

The listing, Very Old US 2c Stamp from 1887 with George Washington has ended.

Up for grabs is a really old US stamp-- it's a 2c green with George Washington, I believe it is Scott number 213 from 1887. It is in used condition with what seems like a pretty light postmark for such an old stamp. No faults that I could see. Nice condition for a 127 year old stamp!

Here's the bigger scoop: My mom and stepdad both passed away a few years ago, and I've been going through some of their old stuff-- they were both dedicated "savers" of everything. In some ways, I guess they were borderline "hoarders." My stepdad accumultaed stamps, and this is from his collection-- although it's more like a giant pile of messy album pages and envelopes.

I think people should have fun bidding on stuff-- that's what auctions are all about! So the starting bids for my stuff will always be is FIVE credits, and we go from there, no matter HOW valuable something might be.
