A spacer bead is a type of bead that is used between the feature beads or charms within the piece of jewelry. They can be deliberately unnoticeable, as their primary function is to fill in the blanks or accent the feature beads by spreading them out, emphasize a color within the feature bead or offer an interesting contrast color.

You know the old saying children should be seen not heard (I NEVER liked that saying), well think of a spacer bead as that child that you don't want here from, you just want to see. They are there but not to take over.

These can be used the same way you would sequins, so yes you can sew these on fabric.

You can also use them for decorations on crochet crafts as well you just take a bead sew it down the middle of the flower to hold it in place and you have a flower facing you its very dramatic
