What a terrible trick to call this sweet plant Thimbleweed? I am offering 25+ seeds, Anemone virginiana is a showy wildflower with large divided green basal leaves. Each plant will produce several divided stems growing to 2' or more. These are topped with showy whitish flowers that give way to equally showy elongated, prickly seed heads that will persist into winter. Easy to grow , a low maintenance plant that does not spread as aggressively as other anemones might. A good choice for cottage and rock gardens, or in the front of perennial flower beds where its low basal foliage will not obstruct other plants from view.
