Oh my goodness, Gina! This is so pretty! I was on JoAnn's web site recently...dream shopping' and I saw things like this were between $15.00 and $18.00 a yard! This wonderful material is worth at least 8,000 credits! What a quick, pretty project this would make! Thank you for always offering such nice things! Blessings <><
Before the medical field I worked at joanns. You don't hire a sewing/quilting nut to a craft store. We got all the bargains first plus employee 30% off. I gots lots. donated 10 totes of projects and fabrics to the nursing home my dad was at. And I still have hoards. Say a prayer every morning for your girl Hannah.
LOL! A kid in a candy shop...huh?! I once asked a tiny lady at See's Candy how she stayed so trim working there, she said, "The first week you work here, you are allowed to eat as much candy as you want for free. I made myself so sick, I haven't eaten one bite since then, and I have been here over a year now!" I don't think however, there is ever enough fabric, notions, yarn, etc. for those of us who have, "Craftitis!" The nursing home must have been thrilled. Before Hannah became to ill, her National Jr. Honor Society group would go to a nursing home to sing, do crafts, and visit with the residents. I was so blessed, Hannah is the only youth I know of that has sang a solo. It was hard at first, but then she began right away planning what she would sing, 'next time'. It really helped her to not be shy, because I told her they were just happy she was there, and would not judge her for perfect pitch, etc. She does have a lovely voice, though. We pray for you, as well, Gina, and treasure the knowledge of your faithful prayers. <>< We pray for you as well, my friend.
