With my mega pixel amount in my camera, that is the best pictures I can get. I wish I had a better camera. But I don't. I wish I could get those really cleat pics that ppl get, but my camera doesn't have that capability. I will try though.

It is gold filled. That means the out side of the ring is filled with real gold. But, it's still plated over another material. IT'S NOT SOLID GOLD. I hope this answers your question. I'm a bit confused with gold "filled" jewelry myself.
