Description

The listing, Great, small, slender pocket knife. Japanese quality of the 1960's-70's has ended.

Another wonderful Japanese quality pocket knife from the 1960's-70's. Similar to the mother of pearl one I auctioned a couple of weeks ago. The danman got that one. The knife measures2-3/4 inches closed. 5-1/8 inch tip of blade to tip of blade. Long blade is 1-1/2 inch long, short blade is 1-1/8 long. Gorgeous jigged handles that feel like bone, but don't hold me to that, but I'm pretty sure it is. Nickle silver bolsters. One end has a small bail for a keychain, but I wouldn't advise this, as it's an easy way of losing a beautiful knife. Blades have excellent snap and function very nicely. The long blade is stamped VALCR #136 on the reverse side it is stamped stainless Japanese. All Listia rules apply. MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE. NO MINORS PLEASE. You must have Listia verified address. This is important and easy. Follow Listia's prompts to get verified. Should you bid and win and are not verified, you will forfeit your credits. Those are the rules. Free shipping in the U.S. ABSOLUTELY NO SHIPPING TO CANADA OR ANY OTHER FOREIGN COUNTRY. IT IS TOO MUCH HASSLE, SORRY. I always provide tracking.

You know sageani it looked like that, but part of the is missing and me eyes even with the loupe, couldn't discern thst letter. I knew of those knives, but not feeling my best today, I went with the C. I've been under the weldinghood since 1977. These old eyes are pretty much done. Thank you my friend for helping me out. Most appreciated!!!

Yea I have a few Valor. Love em!
I have one with the strange shaped black composite handles and a shield with the Indian Chief's head in full head dress on both sides. I really like this one. It's shaped like the pearl handle knife I got from you awhile ago.

Even though it's not USA, the quality is quite amazing. It's even harder to believe that my grandfather even had these considering his political views back then. I have a couple if more left, but I'm on the fence about letting them go. We'll see. On another note, I just found a Civil War pocket knife locally. I am going to purchase it. It is absolutely breath taking. I will share pictures with you.

Oh I really like Vintage Japanese steel. Definitely email me a pic or 2 of that Civil War piece. I'll inbox my info to you.
