Hi there, and welcome! My advice for you, as a buyer, is to get familiar with the rules and "ways" of Listia. It will help you feel more comfortable and confident in your bidding, can help you spot "fakes", and will save you from some major headaches. Also, leave honest, to-the-point feedback about your transactions with sellers that will help other buyers know what to expect.

As a seller, be honest about what you are selling. Take good quality photos, offer clear details, and ship your items timely (and with care so they are not damaged in transit). Again, leave feedback as appropriate for the situation. This site, in my opinion, is very much based on integrity and trust- treating others the way you would want to be treated, really - and if you maintain those elements in your dealings with others, you will do great.
