With Miche you purchase the shell, and buy the other parts to make it custom to you. You purchase the handles separate, and the organizer base bag that you put inside the shell, but you can use it without. But with the base bag, you can put your stuff in it, and then pop them in and out of the different shells for a quick change of color, or style from day to day, without taking everything out everytime you want to change purses. Its very practical and I love it, as other Miche lovers will tell you. Thanks for asking.
