The listing, Native American Dolphin Necklace Carved Water buffalo bone has ended.

This is a hand carved waterbuffalo bone necklace, it has a Native American Maidens face with two dolphins, and feathers.

Very detailed, the color is a creamy bone tone and there is some light marbling hues of tans in the top dolphin. Very nice piece.

The chain is sterling silver, rope style chain. length of chain un clasped is 19 inches

Pendant measures 3 1/8 inch long by 1 1/8 wide

This was carved from Water Buffalo Bone by Native Americans? What tribe, and how did they come by water buffalo bones? Beautiful craftsmanship, Definitely watching!

Thanks, I do not know the origins of where or who carved it. I do know that you can purchase Water Buffalo Bone for carving easily throughout the US. The piece has no hallmark. The detail is stunning, pictures just don't due it justice. I put Native American in the description title as the Maiden in the carving appears to be of that origin.
