I haven't had a bed for 6 years (since my son was born). I have a bedroom but no bed cuz I just haven't been able to afford one. Well, a friend of a friend got a new bed and offered to give me their old one in really good condition for FREE! I was supposed to pick it up this morning but the person who was taking me to get it never showed up, so now I have another person who is supposed to get it for me tomorrow. Awwe!! Thanks hun!! I do NOT normally do things like that & I have to admit that I was a bit nervous doing it but I felt it was the right thing to do. I'm just trying to do my little part to help keep Listia safe, honest, & FUN : )

THREAD galore!!!! as well as sewing machine needles, buttons, bobbins, upholstery needles,etc. They were stored in plastic boxes when I looked through the stuff his wife had put a lot of the needles in her empty medicine bottles and the dates on them were in the 1960's Let me know if you guys are interested but I am not sure I can do free shipping this month....I have my daughters baby shower to do at the first of May so money is real tight.

That purse is... something else. Then again, it doesn't surprise me. After all, they have those purses made to look like... shirts or something, the ones with boobs. Those things always seemed a little strange to me. So, why shouldn't there be a boot purse? lol

@Tannyb: I love writing. From the time I was a teenager, that's what I wanted to do: have my name on books. Poetry's my fave though. I'm better with it than fictional stories. But I did pretty well on some of my papers for school, especially if it was a subject I was interested in. You'd have to contact me by listia email though, that's the best way to get in touch with me. And in case I missed a comment you posted. I check it more often than my regular email. So if you sent me an email, you could always send a message here telling me to look in my email and I'd look for your message.

im a big time list maker too!!! I have tons of notebooks filled with alot of nothing LOL I tend to doodle alot too- i always have to be writing something! my mom is the same way so i think i get it from her!

about the printed coupons- my printer got a jam somehow (I just got it for xmas) and now it wont work but i signed up for TONS of coupon sites so I get daily emails for printable coupons (good ones too!!) but i can't print them :( i know that stores here take them. @ annette- maybe where you are there were alot of people trying to scam them??? i dont know why my stores here will take them but yours wont. thats strange. :(

I am not a doodler but Jim & Sie are!! LOL:) .... And yeah, it's upsetting about the coupons not being accepted at a few of the stores here bc I'm an avid coupon'er & we try to stick to a budget so that we are able to have extra money. So yeah, I'm pretty bummed about that :(

@Tannyb: Anytime you need help with writing papers, I would love to help. I miss school, miss the stories and writing projects. I love googling things and trying to find a way to word it so that it sounds just right. Then again, I just love words period. If you have to do stories, papers of some kind, poetry, whatever, just message me. I don't mind helping if I can. Even if you just want something proofread before sending it out. I can do that, catch little mistakes in someone else's papers, but have you ever noticed it's harder to do that on your own papers? For you to catch misspellings and such? I have a theory. It's because you're brain knows what it SHOULD say, therefore, it sees it like that and you can easily over look something like a misspelled word or even leaving a word out.

@Anette: That's just it, I make lists. For everything. From what I need to do the next day to groceries needed to what I've gotten the kids stored away for their bdays, etc. However, I usually just make the lists in a notebook, which ends up filled with other stuff because I love to doodle & write and so do my kids. And the lists get lost amongst all the other writing. So I end up rewriting ones I've already written {sometimes more than once}. Between the lot of us {me & my kids}, we can't seem to keep notebooks! :)

Ok Ladies and Gents here's one to watch out for the name is HEIDIF I just read her feedback and even if she is left positive feedback she leaves neutral. Now shes saying that They charged her for all the shipping costs even though I sent it to her as a hand process only envelope which costs more. Then she Called me DUMB in her feed back so I decided to take back the offer of paying any extra postage it may have cost her and gave her negative feedback.

I like making lists. For everything. To do lists, shopping lists, etc. And then I always loose the papers I write them on or they get lost in a notebook full of other writings and random doodling and such. So those seemed like an awesome idea! Plus, they're cute. :)

1)a notebook just to keep track of all 2011 holiday & bday gifts for family & friends, as I really shop all year long & need to keep track of that stuff or I end-up buying too much stuff for one person & nothing for someone else or wrong sizes, ect.

2)everything about the baby shower~ Sie's wish list & which stores, gifts we've already bought, invitation addresses, shower decor & food, games & prizes, ect. & stuff I need to get like gift wrap, gift bag, ect.

I also have lists for...... Easter egg hunt gifts for my nieces & nephew ...... lists of my current auction items sold & being shipped ...... weekly grocery or household needs like rice milk, bread, & kitty cat crunchies ...... & things I like to pick-up for my swappers:)

My local WalMart & Dollar General have a paper at the check-out that shows where these kinds of coupons are not accepted by them. I've been shown this paper on different occassions while trying to use internet printed coupons & they won't accept them. And now at my Dollar General, they will no longer accpet FREE coupons, as the coupon has to say BUY ONE GET ONE FREE in order to get an item for free.
I don't get it bc they only get reembursed by the manufacturers anyway??!!
And now there is new technology where you can download "coupons" to your cell phone & have them "scanned" (codes) at the check-out, clearly not having to cut any coupons out or even print anything out, so I wonder if stores will start banishing that as well??
Anyone else have any problems using home printed coupons or FREE coupons????

Oh! Annette, I saw some children's books on here. A user who goes by MARKKEITTAE has some. That user has a lot of pages of auctions though, so you'd have to go through quite a few because I didn't save the urls and don't remember the page numbers the auctions are listed on. @Tannyb: Have you tried googling for the cat food brand plus the words "free coupons"? I did this searching for the Purina ONE cat food and they had a facebook page. If you liked that page on facebook, they would send you a $2 off coupon. I think it was one you had to print though. There are all kinds online if you have a printer. Which I don't have, so I can't print them for you. {otherwise I would}
