With their 1-inch flowers of deep purple, yellow and white, Johnny-Jump-Ups look line miniature pansies but are more heat tolerant and easier to grow. A good choice for containers, along the edges of flowerbeds or in between bulbs.

A garden favorite. Annual

These are so lovely and delicate and they can be eaten too!

Use as a garnish plain or you can also dip the flowers in beaten egg whites then sprinkle with sugar to make candied violas :)

Violas were my mothers favorite ;)
