8 1/4 inches long approx 21 centimeters

That is with the extra link you can take it out without the link it is 7.5 inches long.
There is a pull tab for the battery that I did not pull so it should be good to go. The plastic is still on the face and extra link also.

I can't find anywhere it says sterling silver it says stainless steel on the links. I was told it was sterling silver when I purchased it.
