This was made from recycled and reclaimed fabric that I purchased from a thrift store that had been cut into small scraps from crib sheets and various baby items. I soaked the fabric in oxi clean and laundered it several times it still retains its very soft flannel texture perfect for your baby's skin. I then traced a pattern from an purchased accessory pannel from the craft store with a fabric pencil and then cut along the lines. I then took some expensive 100% cotton all natural cotton batting used for making quilts and I sandwiched it in between the two layers of soft flannel and stitched around the outside twice with my sewing machine. This makes a very soft and thick and absorbent and virtually waterproof burping pad for you to use to burp your baby without getting your shirt all wet and messy. It is fully machine washable on cold or warm and tumble dry low. I can also make these with brand new flannel of your choice purchased from the craft store.
