The listing, Very Ornate 1908 Brass Padlock has ended.

Very ornate early padlock in solid brass. This lock is marked on the front MOTOR. On the hasp part its is marked with the date of 1908. It is very clean and displays nicely. It was open when we got it and it snapped shut by mistake. We do not have a key.

Pity about the locking! Same thing happened to me on an old trunk with keys inside. Learned my lesson! Good luck!

I tried a few old keys I had here and they turn but they cant catch the mechanisim that makes it unlock. Sometimes you can find a key for some of these old ones. They were pretty simple back then.

It weighs 90 grams which is just over 3 ounces. 3.17. It measures 2 1/4 " long. I fanned you.
