Quaint little print of rural scene of cottage by pond, blossoming tree would indicate springtime. Print is lightly glued on one side to mat, as pictured. Vertical line on picture is from the scanner. Picture is actual scan. Mat is tanned, picture is bright and detailed, including light blue sky. This print graced many living rooms in the past, as inexpensive print art for ordinary people. The outside dimension of the mat is 7x9 inches, the picture is 4x6 inches.

The outside dimension of the mat is 7x9 inches, the picture is 4x6 inches. I don't know how I overlooked that in the description.

"Picture is actual scan."
So this means it is a copy of an original picture, right?

Thanks!

No, the picture is original with original mat, but when I have flat items for sale I scan them with my flatbed scanner and publish that picture. This is a 1950's picture in great shape.

P.S.
Is the scanner line visible on the actual picture or is it just showing up on the computer?

The scanner line must be on the glass of the computer, as it does not show on the picture.

Can I presume by your picture that you are a Marine Veteran? I'm USAF Vietnam Vet myself. I'm new to this, so we will see how people act.

I am tickled pink at this statement.....
I am not a vet...I am a daughter of a Marine vet...and a WAC vet...sister to an 82nd Airborne Vet - Grenada....aunt to an Army Captain in Iraq now....mother-in-law to a Sgt.in National Guard who just returned from Iraq and is going to Afghanistan in 2014.

I am just PROUD......Semper Fi....do or die!

Thank God for men and women who enter the service and sign a blank check payable up to and including their life, to keep the American way of life alive. I have 5 brothers and sisters, all of us are vets. My brother and I are both service connected disabled from Vietnam, and every day I wake up I bless those who have served and are serving now. Bless you and all your kin that served and continue to serve.
