Contains 9% amitraz and is recommended for use on dogs 12 weeks and older. Not labeled for use on cats. Prevents the attachment of ticks for 3 months, and detaches existing ticks before they can transfer disease-causing organisms. The 25" size is labeled for dogs that weigh more than 60 pounds.

To help everyone reading this, I thought I'd write a review. I don't currently need this, but this is an EXCELLENT brand. When I was a surgical vet tech, we used to recommend these. At the time, Advantix didn't exist and this was really the only collar that took care of ticks. Wonderful product. Haven't seen them in years. :)

Hi thanks for offering this, I really need it! We've been invaded by brown ticks lately and even though I've used the drops on my dog, she still gets a few ticks on her and climbs in bed with me and they crawl on me! YUCKO! OH and I'm a fan, thanks again!
