The fantastic concert featuring music from the greatest videogames of all time as performed by top orchestras and choirs from around the world is coming to your format of choice with the release of Video Games Live: Level 2, set for release on DVD, Blu-ray, and CD on October 19 from Shout! Factory.

Created and produced by the quote-worthy, world-famous video game composer Tommy Tallarico, Video Games Live: Level 2 features the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, as it was filmed in New Orleans, performing some of our favorite gaming tunes, like medleys featuring Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, a montage of Mega Man music, and of course, a host of Nintendo material.

"We are so excited to be releasing our second album and first DVD/Blu-Ray. People have been asking us for years when these products will be available and we didn't want to put anything out until we had everything we wanted," said veteran video game composer and Video Games Live CEO/executive producer and host Tommy Tallarico.

"Aside from all the cool bonus material, what's really special for me and this project is that some of the music that appears has either never been released before or has only been available in Japan. I think that gamers around the world are really going to be excited about the setlist and what we've put together for the first time in gaming history," said Tallarico. "That being said, our goal has always been to create a show for everyone whether they play games or not. The fact that all of the game publishers have come on board with this project to help our mission says a lot about the future of gaming and how much they believe in Video Games Live."
