On a whim at Target a couple months ago, I picked up Sonia Kashuk's Perfecting Luminous Foundation for myself & am so glad I did. This has been my go-to nighttime foundation ever since ~ it does not contain sunscreen so I suggest either using it at night or wear it over a good Broad Spectrum sunscreen.

I have dry skin & this wears beautifully for me, no dry patches, no icky 'cakey' look, fine lines are not emphasized. The dewy finish emits a subtle glow, coverage is medium & can be built up to full coverage if needed & has great lasting power.

Like most women, I am super picky about my foundation & gravitate to high end brands but this is just as good as a $ 30 foundation.

Six shades are available, this offering is for 'Cream 03', photos in the gallery show a swatch of the shade compared to the others available.

I know you are a makeup guru, but wanted to let you and anyone who reads this know about another great, super cheap ds foundation I am wild about. I usually use Lancome's Photogenic or Liz Waitier or Arden, but with the cost turned to try ds again. I found that Rimmel's matte foundation $5.97 CAD at Wal-mart is amazing! If you need full waterproof coverage, mix one shade darker than normal Rimmel, with a lighter "hard candy" concealer and lightly dust with pur minerals powder, and you will have the boutique look for roughly 6 months for a fraction of the price. I like it without the powder, but it does give it that little bit of oomph I like I don't have great skin, but people always ask me what type of foundation I use, and are surprised to find out the truth. Just wanted to share for those of you on a budget :)

Awesome, thanks so much :) I sell all the shades of Rimmel's Matte line on a different site but have never tried it myself due to having such dry skin & matte simply doesn't work for me usually.
