THIS IS A "TROUBLESOME CREEK" TRAPPER KNIFE

This knife is in over all good condition with only a few tiny scratches, but the handle material on one side looks like it has been warn down a bit (you can see this in the photos).

The blades on this Knife do not have the common shiny mirror type surface because they have been Customized with a Brushed Satin Finish.

Both blades are made of SOLINGEN STEEL and look nearly new.

The Inner Liners are Made of Solid Brass!

The size is: ( 7 & 3/8" Open ) and ( 4 & 1/8" Closed ).

The Main Blade is about: ( 3 & 1/4" Long ) and written on its tang is "TROUBLE SOME CREEK".

The Spey Blade is ( 3 & 3/16" Long ) and on its tang is written "SOLINGEN STEEL".

The blades have a false edge and they are full and perfect, with no chips or cracks.

It looks like this knife is slightly used and the blade edges need to be sharpened a bit.

"TROUBLESOME CREEK ~ IN KENTUCKY" : Some people say Troublesome Creek is 99 miles long and is considered to be one mile short of being a river. Its source begins near the Floyd County line and then flows southwest through Knott, Hindman, Perry Counties, and then feeds into the North Fork of the Kentucky River at Haddix, in Breathitt County.

The first permanent settlers to Troublesome Creek began bringing their families to live there in the 1790s and early 1800s.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them before bidding and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

Well now that's a good thing to actually see. A person that knows of "The Troublesome Creek"!!! I actually had people come on my Troublesome Creek KENTUCKY FISHTAIL site a few months ago and say it didn't exist. This is a very good thing!!! And a newspaper to boot!! Pretty cool, huh Dan?!?!?!

Yes, I totally agree with you and I had no idea that there was a Troublesome Creek Newspaper either.

The thing is, not all knife makers are known.

Around 2 years ago, I was at a gun show in Coeur d'Alene, ID and I met a guy there who made a couple of knives.

He told me there were quite a few small knife makers that are unknown because they don't mass produce knives or go to the extra expense of joining the Knife Makers Guild or registering there knives.

Yes, we can ship to Canada.
The Shipping weight for this knife is 5 oz. , which we can send anywhere in the U.S.A. for $2.09US
Since this listing is for Free Shipping in the U.S. we will subtract the $2.09US from whatever the actual shipping cost is to you in Canada.
Your shipping cost will be figured as follows:
[ (the actual shipping price to your Canadian postal code) - ($2.09US) ].
This should make the shipping cost pretty cost effective for you.
We do not believe in making any profit whatsoever on shipping.
