These grow as a vine. They are related to the cucumber and will actually cross with a cucumber so be careful not to plant them together.

loofa is NOT frost hardy they need 150-200 warm days to mature. yes zone 7 is perfect. germination depends on soil warmth.. typically 7-14 days but as quick as 5 days if the ground is warm
