Carved stone with floral design pendant necklace with black leather straps. Gorgeous and kinda heavy. Don't know anything about identifying stone, but it is a beautiful reddish brownish kinda color ;D

O.K. Marlie, the closest stone in my book is called a Thulite....stone is usually use for this purpose...engraved stones for jewlery or large paperweights...whatever it may be it is a statement piece!!! really pretty! The other closest stone is rough cut of Carnelian, most probably heat treated to bring the luster out. I could be wrong and it could just be a pretty rock but I'll go for one of the above....let's face it, it is a beautiful piece of jewlery and the leather necklace was a great choice in hanging it!

You can use those small self sealing plastic mailers that you get. The type of shipping will depend upon the weight. What is the approximate weight of this?

I am horrible at estimated weight and size. I don't even weigh myself. But the stone feels heavy. My only scale deals in pounds ;(
