An EXTREMELY rare, vintage, highly collectible super soft and cute E.T, Extra Terrestial 8 inch bean plush COLLECTIBLE DOLL. He's About 8 inches tall and in perfect condition. He has been stored in a cedar chest for many many years and never played with or removed!! He is in impecable shape as good as new.

Beware Imposters!! The showtime /kamar dolls were the orginal collectors piece. They are extremely rare and hard to come by, especially in mint condition.

He WAS MADE IN 1982 For Showtime BY KAMAR INTERTAINMENT AND COMES IN MINT-I MEAN EXCELLENT CONDITION! GORGEOUS!!!

This is a must have for E.T. and toy enthusiasts .

HE IS FROM A SMOKE-FREE HOME.

Original E.T. Dolls in this condition are not cheap and highly prized by collectors.

This is so cute i have a similar one that is a little bigger ive had since i was a little girl that is an original i wouldnt trade it for the world i was offered 500 dollars for it but could not part with it .I have it in the closet and really little kids are scared of it LOL i will never forget my adopted 10 years old thought he was gonna be smart and sneak into my closet at christmas time to peep he got more than he bargained for he didnt know et was in there it scared him so bad he cried an screamed an well that wasnt the only thing that he did lol he never once has been back in my closet to this day either he tells me all the time sis you need to get rid of that thing i mean it you bout give me a heartattack!!

The one and only reason i listed it here and not the other sites was because there was a set of stamps I really wanted. I could not find them (the stamps) elsewhere or I would have just bought them.

This is a great auction and love the comments. I am not a nurse. I am a 51 yo mama of four adult daughters, seven grandchildren, married for 30 years, one of the MOST optimistic persons you will EVER meet! and persistent as "all get out"....no pharmaceuticals here at all....but I HAVE seen what my stepmom and I knew it had to be a ufo...it was tripendicular!! and I swear NO drugs were involved, bright orangish yellow light, huge, fast, and incredible and living out in the country in NC it was very clear, open, and bright, no mistaken for plane, city lights, etc...it was definitely something I will NEVER forget.....LOL!!

Had to share...had forgotten about that for a second...that was 32 years ago...OMGsh....shhhh....don't tell!!!

Thanks I appreciate that!!! It is a nice peice for E.T. or "Vintage" animal collectors. I also have a 1956 Yogi Bear I picked up this weekend and a 1959 vintage pellet gun that looks just like a colt .45 ( I will not list that here). Anyway, thank you for the support and I fanned ya!!

So it sounds like you're accepting of differences. That's a good quality. Re nurses, I think they are unsung heroes and I have great respect for them, but I have known quite a few to dip into the pharmaceuticals. Was he in his early 20's? That is a typical age for schizophrenia to kick in. Was he disturbed by the delusions? Or did he enjoy them? I guess if you laughed he wasn't too disturbed.

I once had a roomate that swore he was driving down the road and a spaceship was driving alongside him!!! LOL, he said it was not doing anthything but just coasting along beside him!!! ( he was a surgical nurse, so he wasn't on drugs or anything). But everytime he told the story I would burst intot tears aughing. He claimed the Alien looked nothing like E.T.!!! LOL

Thanks Linda. When I was younger I remember standing in lines for HOURS!!!! to see E.T. when it first came out. I was just crazy over him (LOL). Anyway, this was sold to me by an x-neighbor who had remarkable collectibles. And the thing that is significant about this E.T. is absolutely the maker, there are lots of dolls out there but the maker makes the difference with this one.
