The listing, Scanner Radio - Uniden Bearcat BC80XLT has ended.

Heres a chance to find out whats happening in your community, program frequencies for Police, Fire, Ems, or anything else that runs on a frequency, Stores, Walkie talkies, Nascar, Ham Radio, Marine, Weather.

This is the scanner can store up to 50 channels and is a 800 MHz Radio.

Please note that this radio works perfectly, it does however have a few nicks and dings. You might also notice, that the knobs controlling the squelch and volume don't have the black plastic covering the metal adjusters. You can easily still adjust them using your fingers, it doesn't take away from the ability to work properly.

I also will send you a link to the manual that will instruct you of this radios functions, and if you so which I can provide you frequencies for your area.

It comes with a power adapter but it makes the scanner stationary. Yet, it can also operate on 4 AA batteries if you want to make the scanner portable. Ill include 4 AA batteries.

Dual trunking?

They do still make the Bearcat Scanner but just a newer kind and more channels to choose from. And they also make the scanners that come with about a 1000 channels. But the one you have is a very old bearcat model but is still nice. F&W.

bear cat scanner i believe they stop making them a while bk,because they are not digital,but it is a great item and i know they still pick up weather,sorry pass tanks for sharring

Uniden still offers Bearcat scanners, most of are more sophisticated and have went digital which offers the listeners a better experience. Depending on bidders location this scanner still pick up frequencies still being used below 800 mhz.

these are good analog scanners and they do not make these anymore. can get all the freqs for your area free at www.radioreference.com, this is not digital so if your area is digital,trunking,or encrypted you will not hear them with this scanner, these are great for amateur radio,weather,skywarn and hearing walmart if that is your thing lol, I might post mine just like this if his sells and someone else is interested in one
