I used this tablet for almost a year with the screen like this. The broken tablet screen still works because the main crack is off-screen, however, the new screen will make the tablet look that much better, unless you're into the cracked-screen look. The digitizer still functions at 100%!

Yes, and it works perfectly! I wiped it, so when it's turned on it prompts you to select a language.

FYI: the tablet works perfectly! The touch screen still works at 100%, despite the cracks, but the new screen will make this tablet perfect.
