Original, One-of-a-Kind Classic Blue Chalk Turquoise Turtle Tortoise Large Pendant Beaded Necklace.

Handmade With Brand New, Quality Materials.

Large chalk turquoise turtle tortoise pendant measures 2" long x 1-1/4" wide, x 8mm thick.

Necklace with matching chalk turquoise beads in an alternating pattern of 10mm round and 10 x 12mm irregular rectangular beads. The .925 Silver Plated spacers in between are 4mm each. Toggle clasp. 20" long. With the 2" hanging pendant included, this necklace measures 22". Very nice, heavy, quality piece.

Handmade and designed with very special care, all by myself :).

It's a more affordable quality of turquoise, used primarily for jewelry, and is found deep in the soil. It's used in a majority of the turquoise jewelry sold today. It's often preferred for jewelry, because it's harder than higher grade turquoise, which breaks and scratches more easily. Chalk turquoise is resistant to many of the common chemicals we are exposed to daily, such as chlorine- so it won't break down easily over time, like the higher grade turquoise. It isn't affected by the oil in the wearers skin, which weakens the stone and changes its' color over time. There's a lot of different advantages, just google for a bunch more info... :)
