I am a beginner gemologist and going into paleontology(Study of Dinosaurs) jurrasic,messsaoic;periods learning about what killed the dinosaurs and what climatic change in events may have caused the demise of them. I learn something till I get bored and go on to something different, Intelligence isn't always a fun item to have. I got it late in life, I am also studing Einsteins theory of Evolutionn. Check out elisalatimore friend of mine. She has a very rare Australian Coober Pedy white opal, that turns completely red(not a Mexican Opal) oh so rare put it in a 18 kt setting,and you have a very expensive opal. More valuable then Lightning Ridge black opals. Hers is most likely worth set in gold in excess of $1800.00

these are extremely rare opals watch the gem shopping channel. one sold last night surrounded with diamonds (of course) but it could flip over to show other side in 14 kt ring sold for $6375.00 at auction gives you some idea to how rare, rare really is! Go try and find another one?
