Be aware, there will also be chaff. Very small seeds ~hard to separate.

AKA toothache plant, this herb is great to have in the garden if you wear braces. Flowers are interesting and probably why it's also called eyeball plant!

Wiki states -- "..small amounts of shredded fresh leaves are said to add a unique flavour to salads. Cooked leaves lose their strong flavour & may be used as leafy greens. Both fresh & cooked leaves are used in dishes such as stews in northern Brazil... Combined w/ chilis & garlic to add flavor & vitamins to other foods.

Flower bud has a grassy taste followed by a strong tingling or numbing sensation &often excessive salivation, w/ a cooling sensation in the throat. The buds are known as "buzz buttons", "Szechuan buttons", "sansho buttons", & "electric buttons". In India, they are used as flavoring in chewing tobacco.

BEWARE -- GREEN bell peppers are UNRIPE bell peppers & aren't likely to provide VIABLE seeds. There are very few varieties that produce bell peppers that ripen to green. Same for GREEN Jalapeno & most other pepper varieties. It only take minutes to check the variety & discover the color of the RIPE pepper.

Apple seeds? Mercy! Don't get me started!

TxWolfie, you must not understand how bidding works. It wasn't a bidding war between one person. Wow! Someone else put up a bid each time, but it was never large enough...so it only showed the one bidder. Educate yourself because it is rude to waste someone's time with these silly accusations.

It would certainly seem that you're right, Gem. There must not be a clear understanding of how the bids go up in increments until the highest bid is surpassed. This confuses me since I was noticing that in his own auction here http://www.listia.com/auction/6906644-horned-fruit-seeds the same person placed 7 bids before outbidding the highbidder. Yet it clearly seems like some sort of accusation of bidder misconduct is being made here.

The entire history isn't showing, and perhaps you don't understand how the bidding works. The others were trying to outbid SavyWitch who obviously place her 2000 pt bid first, although the total amount (2000 pts) of her bid would not be shown until after she is outbid.

is it hard to grow should i start in mini green house i'm not good with starting plants i'm excellant with gardens i know this plant is amazing and really works for toothaches its convincing my boyfriend to try a piece :) me i'll try anything once well i look it up first :)

I'm in Florida so temps are rather high and it likes heat. I don't even sow the seeds anymore. It self-sows pretty freely. Here's a planting guide that might help you; http://www.seedaholic.com/spilanthes-acmella-toothache-plant.html

I've tasted it and it's not nasty. It's kind of grassy tasting and a little peppery, to me. But I ate a whole (rather large) buzz button once and it was too much to eat all at one time. Numbed all the way down my throat lol I think I'd probably mash it up in some olive oil and just dab a bit on the effected area next time lol
