My 12 year old got hers cut also, so now it is only long enough to reach about to her shoulder blades. My 10 year old, on the other hand, has hers a couple inches below her butt.

Lol gobs of shampoo, conditioner, and detangler spray! :) my hair is about as long as my 12 year old's, so I use my share of the stuff, too, except the bobby pins. I usually just wear mine down or in a ponytail.

Exactly! By the time you get done with theirs you don't have the time or the energy for yours! Lol I do braids and buns and start out with 2 braids and merge them into one braid and all sorts of things for them, then stick mine in a ponytail or just run a brush through it then rush out the door! Haha!

The funny part is, I was a tomboy growing up, wasn't one of the ones that was into doing each others hair, make up, nails, etc. I didn't even have nail polish or make up in the house until my 12 year old got to be 2 or 3 and started asking me to paint her nails! Then got older and wanted make up.

i was a tomboy also hated it when i was young my mom use to put curlers on me and to sleep with them on at night was brutal lol

My mom did that too!! It was impossible to find a way to lay your head down comfortably!! I was also horrified when she would make me wear a dress!! As soon as I got old enough that she let me pick my own clothes I quit wearing one lol I haven't worn a dress in years and years!!
