Vintage Childs Indian Costume Head dress and Tomahawk. Not sure how old it is but remember it when I was a kid. Feathers on head dress attached to a headband with Indian designs and 2 racoon tails hanging on each side.It has a tomahawk with a wood handle

What is the band like? Is it strictly fabric, or is there any beadwork included? It's really the kinda thing that puts us into our historical perspective, isn't it...Not really the BEST way to preent a proud people4, but still, it is as it was, a part of whow we were and are. So, as a piece of history,m this is a great little auction, and I'll fan you and watch it, if only on that basis...truth to tell, though, I wanna win it, lol!

I'm with you on the history thing. We have come a long ways in a short few years when you look at other countries. There is no bead work just leather band. I wish we still had the vest and hand drum noise maker thing. Still worth what ever it goes for, didn't wanna get rid of it but kids wanna do Iron Man and Hello Kitty for Halloween these days.peace
