This auction is for a Precious Moments Bear Cookie Jar. It is marked Precious Moments on the bottom & reads c. 1993 Samuel J. Butcher. All rights reserved world wide. License Enesco Corporation. Made in China. With the head on, it measures 10 1/2 inches from head to toe. At the widest point at the base it is 11 inches & it is 8 inches deep. The bear has pink ear pads, paw pads & cheeks & a blue bow tie. He is white & holds a pink heart which reads Cookies. He has the famous tear drop eyes. His head is removable to fill with cookies or other treats. I believe he is made from ceramic or possibly bisque. He is shiny in finish. He has no visible chips or cracks. He has been on my counter for a few years & I love him as I am a Precious Moments collector, however, I do not have room for him on my counter any longer & would like him to go to someone who will love him as much as I do. I do not have original packaging for him as he has been in use in my home for some time.
He comes from my home where my husband smokes & I have pets but he is in excellent condition.
