perfect maybe you can help me. My grandson is seven years old and his mother tells me he wears a size 2 shoe. It has been a long time since I bought shoes for a seven year old. Does that mean a 2Y or 2T or just 2 I am not sure any more. I would like to surprise her with some nice shoes but not sure thought I would ask around here before I make a fool of myself LOL

2T usually refers to 2 toddler. These shoes for example are 2 1/2Y, I am guessing that means years old? Sometimes you see a B or M which means medium. That is the best I have. Good luck :)

My kid is going to be a beast! These are his shoes from last spring 2 1/2. This year we bought a 6 1/2 men's shoe yikes! He is now 53in. tall and 93lbs.
