The is an excellent story about a world that is a giant ring like the HALO world in the popular game. Written in 1980 by Larry Niven, it is a deep story with great word pictures and interesting characters that stretch the imagination. I'm a HALO fanatic and this book gave me another view of the world that Master Chief ran over hunting the Covenant. Well worth the read!
