this is a 24k pure gold necklace this is an amazing piece and is a must have this is worth 400 dollars keep in mind the price of gold is going up so it has no markings on it but it is 24k pure gold and how i know is it came from my Hummel pocket watch which was 24k gold that broke and i used it as a necklace and it works and looks just like a necklace also it is very very heavy I'm not sure how much it weighs but its very heavy and is worth 400 dollars so please bid high thank you also there is a buy it now for 100,000 credits

thank you everyone and yes the pocket watch was worth 600 its a real authentic Hummel pocket watch from Germany and it is real 24 k pure gold and i also bought this of qvc when they first came out soooo thats why its so much and i looked on ebey those are not authentic ones

I wish I had the points to bid on this !! I would like to tell the people that are skeptical about 24 kt gold jewelery. Although here in the USA it almost unheard of in other parts of the world it is the norm. On a trip to China, I bought a ring, all gold sales in China is strictly regulated only 24 kt. gold is sold there. When I got home I had the ring tested, and in fact, it is 24 kt, and yes, very soft and bendable. So, this was my long way around in saying, they do make a lot of 24 kt. jewelery. I wish I had the points !! Good luck to the seller and the winner !! Beautiful piece.

it is a very soft it will bend very easily you have to be careful also i no its about 400 dollars because the thing alone was 600 and this most of it because this was the chain part to the pocket watch and its very heavy and i have been told that it would be worth about 400 dollars by a jeweler but thats what the jeweler said

how do you know it is worth 400 dollars ?..do you know how much it weighs?

but usually items are not made from 24 k gold.. as 24k gold is very soft gold.. this is why they usually only make. rings/ necklaces out of 10k 14k and 18k.. but 24k is the highest karrot and softest gold it is usually gold bar bullion..
