What is the difference between a soft sleeve and a top loader? Sorry if that is a stupid question. I don't know a lot about cards but my Dad has some and I would like to know more about proper storage as I help him add to his collection.

Fanned you back. A soft sleeve is the one that is a soft plastic you put your card in. Then for extra protection you can put that card in a top loader which is a rigid harder plastic. That way it has more protection if you are mailing the card. When people send the card in just a soft sleeve they get bent and scratched...
