The listing, Wireless USB Adapter Lot has ended.

I got all this stuff when I was using the wifi signal from the router in my moms house. Now with my newer computer and the internet hook-up I had to get, because this wouldn't work on my NEWER operating system(Windows7), I am putting it up for some one else to get some use out of it. It worked fine, the computer died. I knew it was going, that's why I didn't spend a lot of money. So The adapter works on Windows 2000, XP 32/64-bit, Linux and MAC OS X. Plug and Play installation. Management Utility supports 2000/ XP / Vista.

It is so you can use wifi instead of wired network to get online. I don't really know how to explain it because I'm kind of self-taught.

Connecting any wireless device to you're computer gives you the ability to pick up a signal from a wireless router. Unless you pay for it or you're neighbor dosent have a password on there network, no it would not give you the capability to magically hand you free network connectivity. F&W

Only if someone in your area has an unprotected (without a password) network with a strong enough signal.

Jean all the people in my area have passwords on there internet except 1 and its called Linksys and it only has 1 bar if I still use the wireless adapter u think it will let me get online for free on my ps3 and download stuff.
