Plant is harvested from very healthy parent shown in picture. I will carefully remove the "pup"when you win the auction and pack in damp paper towel. Good luck!

"Pup" is a horticultural term. It applies when a plant propagates by growing off-shoots from a main root. When the grow above the soil they can be removed at about 4-5" and are affectionately called "pups" Cheers! Hope you have a winning bid!

Let me get this right, a baby plant is called a pup? Or because it has a shoot coming out?? Curious, never heard it be called a pup before!!Thanks:)

I love growing from seed or bulb/tubes the best. Getting to watch from he start. My main aloe vera "root" is about 4 years old. I grew it from one pup and now I have over 15 that have come from just the one! Cheers.
