The listing, 1907 Liberty "V" Nickel, 1937 Buffalo Nickel, 1943 WWI Steel Wheat "NICE COINS" has ended.
For your consideration is this set of three 1907 Liberty "V" Nickel, 1936 Buffalo Nickel w\ partial horn & a 1943 WWII Steel Wheat penny.....Another nice starter set! There are reasonably nice coins. Those of your new to numismatics will soon learn that the Liberty "V" nickel didn't fare well maintaining their detail as well as other coins and it's very difficult to find one will clear detail and this one in no exception. While I believe the WWII Steel Wheat has been circulated, it's in very good condition and shows very minimal wear or sign of circulation. The Buffalo is a nice coin w\ a partial horn. Many people, including numerous sellers here on Listia that consider themselves experienced and/or experts w\ coins seem to think that the horn is at the bottom of the buffalo's chin which is actually a "beard". The buffalo's horn is just in front of the buffalo's ear & extends through the buffalo's hair towards the top of the buffalo's head. On this particular coin only the bottom portion of the horn is still visible however the vast majority of Buffalo nickel don't have even this much of the horn still visible.
